“The stampede took place after a quarrel erupted between devotees ready in line and flower sellers outdoors the temple. The quarrel rapidly led to panic and chaos, ensuing within the stampede that claimed seven lives,” the police investigation reveals.

“The difficult geographical location of the Baba Sidheswar Nath temple, located on a mountain with a slender strategy street additionally contributed to the sudden and tragic stampede,” the police stated.

“We’re working to determine the flower sellers concerned within the quarrel that triggered the stampede. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has introduced a compensation of ₹ 4 lakh every to the households of these lifeless and ₹ 50,000 to these injured. Tejashwi Yadav, the Chief of the Opposition, additionally expressed his condolences over the incident.
