NEW DELHI: Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah criticized Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot for issuing a show-cause discover relating to alleged irregularities within the distribution of web sites by the Mysuru City Improvement Authority (MUDA).
Siddaramaiah labeled the discover as “unlawful and in opposition to the Structure,” and accused the Governor of appearing as a ‘puppet’ of the central authorities and BJP-JD(S).
Siddaramaiah denied any involvement in what he described as an alleged ‘rip-off‘.
“My position shouldn’t be there. The place is my position?” he questioned reporters in Mysuru.
He additional accused the central authorities of “misusing Raj Bhavan” and trying to destabilize the democratically elected authorities.
“The Governor is totally functioning as a puppet of the central authorities, BJP-JD(S),” he added additional.
The Karnataka authorities, on Thursday, suggested the Governor to withdraw the show-cause discover.
