7 Bangladeshi women held for illegal stay in Navi Mumbai – Times of India



NEW DELHI: Police have arrested seven Bangladeshi ladies for staying illegally in Maharashtra‘s Navi Mumbai township, an official stated on Thursday.
Appearing on a tip, a workforce from the NRI police station raided a residential premises at Krave village in Navi Mumbai on Tuesday night and apprehended the ladies from two rooms there, he stated.
The accused, who labored as home helps, had entered India illegally and have been residing with none paperwork at rented lodging within the village, the official from NRI police station stated.
A case was registered in opposition to them underneath provisions of the Passport (Entry into India) Act, 1950 and the Foreigners Act, the police added.
